For this recipe, a food processor or small blender will be needed.
Using the food processor, place the basil, pine nuts, garlic, lemon juice, nutritional yeast, and sea salt and blend until a paste is formed inside the blender.
Add the olive oil a little at a time (while the blender is running if possible). Then add the tbsp of water at a time until the desired consistent is achieved - a thick but pourable paste should be formed.
At this point, taste and adjust the flavour as needed. This cheesy pesto is perfect for adding to pastas, breads, zucchini noodles, and dressings.
